About us
We’re Steven and Melanie Cowan — a husband-and-wife team who’ve been travelling to Walt Disney World from the UK every year since 2015, sometimes even twice a year! We know the excitement… and the exhaustion that comes with long-haul flights, navigating unfamiliar roads, and just trying to settle in after landing.
After years of making that journey ourselves, we realised what a difference it makes when someone’s there to meet you who understands your accent, your jet lag, and your family’s needs. That’s when the idea for Gateway to the Magic was born — a way to make the first step of your holiday smooth, familiar, and stress-free.
We’re not just drivers. We’re parents, planners, and long-time Disney lovers who’ve been in your shoes. That’s why we created a service that feels more like being picked up by a friend than flagged down by a stranger.
